I am beginning to doubt the capabilities of these designers. Granted, the idea of taking 3 "out" trends and mashing them together is a *really* stupid idea, but I'm looking at the ideas coming out of the teams, and I am not seeing good stuff, nor am I seeing quality finishing.

I actually really like Chris' crop-jacket, but that's the only thing I've seen so far that I even *remotely* like.

Of course, the runway will reveal all, soon enough.

i did not see much from this challenged that was great, though i was not crazy about chris's jacket, i too thought it was not at all contemporary. and i did see chris as the one to go. he just did not stand out on any of the challenges. but little ricky needs to pull his act together or he will soon be next. he's either been too boring, not finished, and now poorly constructed. he has an eye for how clothes should fit the body he just makes bad choices that come back to bite him. i did love the winning team outfits, i thought they were very contemporary and took bad trends and made them fresh.

Given the overall ghastliness of the concept, I really liked Chris's shmata. The only reason I can think for him losing is that someone is punishing me by making me look at all the tacky-ass hats on Ricky.

And honey, who knew Donna Karan had such bad skin? And wouldn't it be fabulously scary if she and the Oompah Loompah were to mate?

I didn't see what the problem was with Chris' jacket. It's the same shrug the judges oozed over when Chloe's nightmare collection was shown at Bryant Park and won two season's ago. And talk about not modern. Bejeebus.

Weird spit-on-the-fabric chick's dress was a mess.

Ricky is totally skating.  Chris’s outfit wasn’t much to write home about, but how many times has Ricky been on the pointy end of elimination now and not been axed?

If we say it enough times, maybe it will come true!

One thing I don’t get, while we’re talking about it:

Okay, Jillian was named the winner.  But was it her individual design, her collective vision or her leadership that gets credited for this challenge?

I mean, they busted the bottom two teams for being the least cohesive collections, but it came down to Chris and Ricky having the “worst designs” that had their asses on the line at episode’s end, at least from how I interpreted it.

I won't get to watch until I can download it, but I take it Chris is history.
