I Wonder

Being the cynical bastard I am, a sick thought popped into my head. There was a bill that passed unanimously and very quickly though the house and senate to fund the relief effort going on in NOLA and surrounding areas.

The thought was... How much pork was passed along with that bill? Does anyone have a copy of the final law that was signed by the President?

We've got a lot of rebuilding to do. First, we're going to save lives and stabilize the situation. And then we're going to help these communities rebuild. The good news is -- and it's hard for some to see it now -- that out of this chaos is going to come a fantastic Gulf Coast, like it was before. Out of the rubbles of Trent Lott's house -- he's lost his entire house -- there's going to be a fantastic house. And I'm looking forward to sitting on the porch

Could it be that the mainstream news is finally picking up on the fact that the current administration is totally inept? Alas, this will all be over in 2 months.
