I finally got my copy of Apple's new photography application: Aperture. It's not meant to compete with Photoshop, but it does compete rather well with Adobe's companion to Photoshop: Bridge.

I am still learning the basics, but I can tell that this will change my normal workflow for the better. As I have quite a bit invested in various scripts in Photoshop itself, I will probably use Aperture initially for cataloguing, organising, and meta-info tagging, then send the "printable" photos to PS to alter individually.

Every time I see Roger Hazard on TV (A&E's "Sell this House" and "Move this House"), I lose the ability for advanced speech and devolve into grunts and snorts.
