Anyone want to go out this evening?

I tried to score Beth Orton tix for April 11th, but I was 15 minutes late to the box office, so I want to do that, but otherwise I am free...

Nothing structured at the moment, but reply here if you would like to meet somewhere at about 7:30pm

Update:

So I am thinking Mexican....

Second Update

See you at 7:30!

So I survived my first week with the new gig. They folks are wonderful, and the project is both fun and challenging. So much so, that I haven't been spending much time on LJ, other than to make very quick "social planning posts".

On Tuesday night, the very cute [livejournal.com profile] greatbearmd was in town, so I decided that dinner was in order. I chose Kun Jip, as I was having a serious Korean food craving (I was born there, and it's my "comfort" food when things are cold, or when I am in bad spirits). Joining us was [livejournal.com profile] rrtrr2005, [livejournal.com profile] badfaggot, [livejournal.com profile] rogueboi, and [livejournal.com profile] vernnyc. Lovely stories were shared, and drinks flowed. There were more tentacles on that table than in any hentai Japanese animation, thanks to [livejournal.com profile] badfaggot getting the squid, and [livejournal.com profile] vernnyc getting the octopus.

Afterwards, we took a brief stroll to Penn Station, where we saw some crazy lady drop her pants, and proceed to pass out. When the police arrived, they carried her out in a wheelchair, and one of them was holding up her neck. It's entirely possible that she died, but I can't be sure. On that note, we decided to go our separate ways.

This evening, I needed some Mexican food. A bit burnt out on Mary Ann's, and because San Loco is all the way over on the east side, I decided to check out a new place, Tequila's. The food was good, but whenever there are more than 2 of us, it's rarely about the food, and more about the company. [livejournal.com profile] showmeonthedoll and [livejournal.com profile] mondragon arrived with guests. Two very handsome people, one a singer from NJ, the other a painter from NH. Both a pleasure to see. [livejournal.com profile] badfaggot, [livejournal.com profile] pagerbear, and [livejournal.com profile] telemann also joined. Margaritas always make the night better. The verdict? Better drinks, and salsa at Mary Ann's, although I think the food is better at Tequila's.

I was also a bit sad that I haven't seen [livejournal.com profile] fuzzyjay at one of my outings in a very long time. I miss you, babe.

Tomorrow, I plan on sleeping in. This whole "getting up at 6" thing, sucks.
