More Gushing Praises About My Job
Sep. 7th, 2006 11:04 amI really enjoy working here. For some reason I woke up early this AM, but managed to leave the house late, missing my normal train. No worries, there's another one 20 minutes later. I hope on the car and find a rather handsome fellow on his laptop (some random PC clunker), so I sit opposite him, and fake-read the Weekly while glancing at him glancing at me.
There is almost no wait for the 6 train, and the weather is *beautiful* as I jump from the subterranean depths to the Big Blue Room, Prince's "I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man" on the nano. The lights weren't in my favour, but that's ok, I can wait.
I pop into the office, and I find it a bit more empty than usual. It seems most are out on away-team missions, less than 20 minutes later, more people leave. The only ones here now are Tara (office manager), Brad (intern), Daniel (front-end developer), and me. My workload is small, as I knew I was going to end my week on Thursday (today) as I am Driving to Cambridge tomorrow to meet up with
rockey1, then taking the ferry to PTown!!
So, if anyone would like to see us, I'd love to see you!
Help! I also may have a parking problem. I would like to park in Cambridge, but usually, you need a permit. My friend David has said I could use his, but he's been unavailable. Does anyone know where I can park in Cambridge from Friday through to Monday? I was thinking I could park in one of the commuter lots, but they don't seem to be multi-day friendly.
