I'm Alive

So let me give you a little recap.

Saturday, I had dinner with a bunch of folk, some of whom I met for the first time. Others who were at the dinner already blogged about it. I rather enjoyed myself. It seems others did as well. I licked [livejournal.com profile] macduff131's head at the 9th Avenue Saloon.

Sunday, I had to do work, as I had a client presentation on Monday. I underestimated the amount of time required to finish the presentation, so I stopped work at 4:30am. My mind was so wired, that I couldn't get to sleep until about 5:30am monday morning. I woke up at 7:15, my normal time. I decided I wasn't going to take my normal train, so I took it slow, and got to the train station in time to catch the train after the one I'd normally take. However, my normal train had yet to arrive, so I wound up taking that one. Oh, the Irony.

I still had a lot to do for the presentation on Monday, so I worked on that until about 10 minutes prior to the deadline. I got it "done" enough to present, knowing that I'd have edits coming out of the meeting anyway, so I didn't stress it. The meeting went well, and I did nothing for the remainder of the day. I hoped to get home early, and sleep, but that didn't happen. I wound up going to Q in Port Chester to have BBQ with my friend Michael. While we ate, a group walked in. Michael stared at the short chick with giant breasts (yes boys, he's straight), while I was eyeing a fellow who looked strikingly like our own [livejournal.com profile] mrdreamjeans, who, as it turns out, was cruising me! Good times. I wound up going to bed at around midnight, sleeping around an hour later.

Tuesday was a day of nothing. I got nothing accomplished. I decided to take a walk to Madison Sq. Park to see if Shake Shack was open (it's not), and to see the doggies at the dog run. There were many-a-doggie, including some puppies, all very adorable. Alas, no pics. I was thinking Burritoville would be a good substitute for the 'Shack, but I decided slogging all the way to 8th Ave wasn't going to happen. I settled on Rick Shaw, the dumpling place. I love their duck dumplings. I was feeling tired, so I was going to leave the office early, but wound up leaving at 6:15. I was also going to hit the gym, but I fell asleep, and woke up at about 1am, not able to get back to sleep until well after 2:30am.

Today is beautiful, but I am still feeling sluggish. I want to hit the gym, but that depends on my ability to stay awake. I *will* accomplish the edits to the wireframes today, as I don't want to have to deal with them over the week-end.

Does anyone want to go out to dinner on Friday?
