I thought it was pretty good for the first episode of a new series. There were quite a few rough edges, and I hope they can learn for the second season (I assume they've already filmed all the episodes).
The "Tim floating in space" bumpers look cheap. Have him sit down, and be more comfortable.
Veronica Webb wears insanely beautiful clothing. It's a shame she's pug-faced. She also seems stilted, but I thought she was great when she was just with the client in the lingerie store.
I don't think this client, nor future clients will be able to pull off the make-up thing all by themselves. There was *a lot* of stuff going on, and it was clear the client didn't wear a lot of make-up. The "take-home chart" helps, but how often do *you* have to make your face in the morning.
That "special event" dress: Fab-U-Las!
