I found the Leonard and Larry comic strip well after Tim Barela stopped making it, but I happened to catch it in a few panels that floated my way via the intarwebs. Very quickly, an obsession developed, and when I found they were available in collected volumes, I jumped at the chance. I think I read Domesticity Isn't Pretty at [livejournal.com profile] vishanti's place back around 2005 or 2006. Interestingly, I believe it was the same time I saw Bright Eyes in concert (see yesterday's TSotD). I never bothered to order anything from their website, as, at the time, it didn't look like it was updated in years. Recently, I popped on, just to see if it was still resolving DNS, and sure enough, the site's still there, and with an update from June 2008! Upon reading, I found out they're selling prettymuch all their stock and insane prices. I got this shirt, and a mug for $9 +shipping. You can even get the books for far less than cover price, although they don't have the one volume I'm missing (Leonard & Larry #3: Excerpts from the Ring Cycle in Royal Albert Hall), as it's been out of print for ages. ::sigh::

My special Piezography K7 inkset finally arrived the other day, and today I hoofed it to B&H to get archival paper so I can do some prints. It's been *forever* since I've printed. I've got quite a backlog. Super B is 13" x19", which will allow me to make a 12" square with 1/4" white space all around for the matte (the rest of the space allows for the paper to be taped to the matte).

Instead of staying out late, I think I'll print tonight, and bring them to NYC in the morning to give to John.

yay!
