Coming…Eventually
Feb. 2nd, 2009 02:22 amI've not posted in ages. Doing so much, yet so little actually accomplished.
This week-end, aside from the Super Bowl, I did a wireframe (rough blueprint) for several templates for one of my websites. I'm going to transform it into a "me hub" of sorts, displaying feeds from all my sites on the internet. I was also able to make an HTML/CSS wireframe of the homepage.
For those who are interested, I'm using a 960px layout, with a 12 column grid. I'm not set on fonts nor colours, but I'm starting to play around. I like the idea of "autumn into winter", so think cool greys along with rich oranges, yellows and reds. The overall theme is big and bold. The large colour blocks are actually placeholders for VERY BIG images. Not shown is the main navigation which will be rather small, right aligned, and in the masthead area. The "Big Belt" is actually a live Twitter feed of my latest entry. It'll load in via an AJAX call (currently it's just static text I stole from @ihnatko because it was long). Below the belt is the intro text, a blogroll, and a brief bio.
Once I get this solid (ish), the other templates will fall into place.
