Think Progress » DoJ official finds it ‘surreal’ to have to respond to Franken’s concerns about Patriot Act.

From the article:
Yesterday, the Senate Judiciary Committee held a hearing to discuss the reauthorization of the USA Patriot Act. Committee member Sen. Al Franken (D-MN) used his question-and-answer period to investigate the provision that authorizes “roving wiretaps,” expressing concern that the law does not require federal authorities to identify the target with specificity before proceeding with surveillance.

Hmm… I seem to only wear one green shirt these days…

In other news, I'm congested, but I don't have a sinus infection (clear snot, just lots of it). I also don't seem to be running a fever, so I doubt I have swine flu. I almost didn't come into work today, but I figured 1) it's Thursday, and I may as well suck it up, and 2) I may have to record a voiceover for a presentation. Of course, I don't know how good it will be if I have a sinus problem.

Last night I hit the gym. I am finally getting back into a normal-ish schedule. It was a chest day, and I was able to do a 115lb flat-bench overhead lift (get a dumbbell, lie down on a bench, with both hands, hold one side of the dumbbell as if you were doing an overhead triceps press, then using your chest, lower the weight past your head, then return the weight to the vertical position.), which is actually down 5lbs from last time. Still, not bad. I was also able to hit 120 (each hand) doing cable crosses. I'm having a bit of trouble with those, as I don't weigh enough to keep myself in the proper position during each rep. I have to concentrate more on keeping my body stable.

I'm really digging the new iPhone "Best Camera" app. It's limited in scope, but it produces some quality effects. Not bad for a whopping $3.
