So today completely sucks. I can't find my phone, and Google wants my password, which is conveniently stored in 1Password… on my phone. No phone, no email. Can I get a "do over"?

I had my phone yesterday. I thought I left it in the car, but when I went to activate it via Bluetooth this AM, no phone was found. This means it either totally died overnight, or it's simply not in the car. I probably left it in Stamford when I received a call from Bill while I was at a friend's house. Or, it's in my house… somewhere.

As I mentioned to [livejournal.com profile] dewittar, It wasn't where I thought it was, but it was in a "standard location" — my shoes.

You see, my study is on the second floor, which is also the place I undress in the evening. (I tend to disrobe shortly after I get home, or after dinner, whichever is later). In the morning, I bring everything downstairs so Bill can do the washing (he's OCD about it). As I planned on wearing the same shoes today, I slipped my phone into the shoes, so I would have a free hand to take the other clothes. However, upon deciding on my wardrobe for the new workday, I went with my Doc Martens instead, completely forgetting my hiking shoes contained my phone.

D'oh!
