New Year Update
Jan. 3rd, 2012 12:19 pmI've finished my CV, although not the portfolio, and none of it is up on the web. I really got lazy and dropped the ball. I did however, figure out how I wanted to show everything, and started coding.
Getting my CV and portfolio in shape is bit of an academic exercise at this point, as I have been working quite a bit on various small projects, and these people know my work from working with me in the past. In fact, I'm about to have a call with The Martians (as I like to call them) to finalise the details of a medium-term retainer contract, which will transform into something much larger in the semi-near future (which I can't yet publicly discuss).
It's cold here for the first time since it snowed in October. I haven't yet been outside, but it's supposed to be in the mid 20s (F). The sun is super-bright, so it's not that bad. I've already noticed the days getting a wee longer, and it's already had a positive effect on my mental state.
I also did a wee bit of shopping, taking advantage of the post-Christmas sales. I was able to get a few shirts and a jumper (as seen in my last photo) for something like 70% off. Not bad, all things considered.
