In other news, today I had to lug a big heavy package into the office. It's my OWC Qx2 external RAID array. It's finally going back — I got a full refund from them. This was my 3rd unit, and it still had major problems. I recently got an email from someone who had a similar problem, so I am glad it's not "just me". My internal RAID is doing *quite* well, although the new drives run slightly hotter. I went with the Caviar Black, rather than the Green, as I wanted the extra speed. When I transition my tower to the network server status, I'll be using the lower-power Greens.
