It was all part of my 'master plan' to take advantage of the theoretically high book value of the car. I bought it from BMW and promptly turned around and put it up for sale. The high Bluebook turned out to be more smoke than substance. I ended up just about breaking even.

To be honest, the car looked great, ran decently most of the time, but I find that I don't miss it.
