I've been dealing with it myself. Can't get to sleep at night, then can't focus and get anything done during the day. *sigh*

Glad to be of service...

I wrote a very effective cure for insomnia. Here y'go. It's a 66-page PDF. The first part of the document should suffice for milder cases; if insomnia persists, go to Attachment 3.

Is it "I can't sleep so I'm playing WoW," or "I can't sleep - playing WoW"? ;)

Ha!! Actually, I think WOW has a lot to do with it. It seems, I can't play it right before going to bed, as my brain will continue to play it after I am in bed. No good can come of that.

Actually, as late, I think I've just been full of energy, so I haven't wanted to go to bed.

Full of energy is good. Seeing WoW on the inside of your eyelids? Not so much.

Time to go outside, C. And by "go outside," I mean "leave the laptop inside, and go outside."

;)

Yeah, I actually did that for most of the week-end. The weather was too amazing to stay indoors.

Hey, do you want to see Ratatouille sometime this week?

I want to see it, but I've got a friend in from TX this week, and am not sure what games will be afoot. If you want to wait a week, I'm in. If not, I shall understand entirely. :)

You are thnking too much. I don't know how to tell you to turn it off other than a shot of scotch before you lie down. Of course, to my reckoning, you are long overdue for a massage and your muscles must be tense as a cat. Nickle Spa for men in Chelsea is running a special, is very clean and totally above the board. In the meantime, try to focus on more pleasant times both past and future. Hugs.

That's exactly it. I can't turn my brain off sometimes.

Actually, your scotch suggestion is a good one. I'll make that happen tonight.

I hear you.

I recommend doing shots of Johnny Walker. But, if it happens too often, you might need a replacement liver.

Or more realistically...try Benadryl...the original version.

Yeah, [livejournal.com profile] notdefined suggested the scotch route as well... It'll take a few, as usually the first couple make the brain race even faster.

If you can't turn your brain off, give it a new task.

When you lay down try to recall everything you've done up to that point in reverse. Works for me.

BTW...love this ultra small font, great for selling reading glasses and bifocals, lol!
