My cat (see icon) would shred the carrier, knock the scratcher over and then eye it suspiciously from a distance, and sleep on the floor next to the bed. He has no sense of style.

Yeah, I thought it was odd that they made the scratching post *close* to being topple-proof, but failing. I suppose you could always line the carrier with steel mesh ;-)

Oooh - I need to get my ass down to the civic center and check that house out. I'm frequently bored with modern urban design but that looks intriguing. Also thanks for the link to the blog which you shall see is now on my links list.

You have no idea how moist that poem makes me.  I thought I had hit orgasm at Apollinaire, but no…

I wish I had a cat to buy those nifty things for.

I ♥ the second house.

As for the cat goodies, I always follow my personal rule of cat toys: the more you pay for one, the less likely your cat is actually going to use it! Most of my scratching posts are hand-me-downs, so my cats like them lots. Funny, when I specifically bought them scratching posts so they wouldn’t scratch up the furniture, they’d never actually use them!

Hey, cool.

zipping on through...looking through the archives on a rainy day before hitting the gym, in hopes of seeing more photos of your beautiful self. But now I'm totally lusting after those two buildigs, and I want a big version of the cat bed for myself.... With you in my lap, of course.
