“You should try homeopathic medicine. Take some zinc.” “I’m 40% zinc!” “Well, then take some echinacea. Or St. John’s Wort.” “Or a big fat placebo! It’s all the same crap!”
Actually, I find taking echinacea and drinking lots of fruit juice at the first sign of infection helps reduce the symptoms of (if not actually stop) oncoming colds. And get some Chloraseptic™ spray for the scratchy throat.
Hope it's just the change in weather and nothing serious. You might try soaking in a nice warm bath for a while. I'm free for lunch and would be more than happy to draw the water for you. ;->
Um. What have you been doing with that throat? Seriously. It is going around. I find that gargling with warm water and salt works. Also drink tea and honey. Even a gargle with a water and a bit of hydrogen peroxide helps too. And cover up when outdoors and when when leaving the gym.
Grate some fresh ginger into that hot lemon and honey tea. Besides tasting good, it should add a bit extra fighting power. Too bad it wasn't the good kinda tickle. ;-)
