PR4: Caravaggio Edition

Christian easily has the most innate talent of the group. His outfit was "him" (small pleats, poofiness, and always with an edge), but I think it extended his range, far more than Rami, who can't give us anything but the same old thing. I think I am going to die of barfness.

Jillian's outfit astounded me until the model was standing next to her, and the jacket seemed to fall apart, as if the only thing giving it any structure was the buttons that kept it closed. A bit of a shame, but a great effort.

While I *love* the drama created by Chris' outfit, all those wrinkles reminded me of paper, and when the model walked down the runway, I didn't see any movement, and that bothered me.

Poor Sweet P, that outfit was all wrong from the get-go. I think in the last couple of shows, she just ran out of steam.

And what about that end?

Discuss!!

The worst of it?

It wasn't even a *good* version of his drape-o-rama.

If Chris had just left off that damn dumb ruffle from the earlier dress, he might have gotten in solo. But they must have thought it would be hard to penalize Rami for repeating himself a bazillion times when Chris repeated himself once.

I didn't really buy Christian's thing but I could see why it's interesting and well done. Jillian impressed me more than I thought she would. Sweet P ... well, she just doesn't get it. Like her, but .... meh.

See, I thought Chris' collar thing was "different enough". I mean it was on the other side, it wasn't layered, it wasn't the same height, different material, etc etc. Many people got praised for doing something I thought was far more similar to earlier works, so I thought the judgement was inconsistent, although inconsistency is par for this group.

Also, Rami's outfit didn't look like it cost $300 in materials. I'd love to see their final bills-of-sale.

If I ever go to a toga party, I am totally hiring Rami. To create my toga, and to hang off my arm and look pretty. Other than that ....

Sweetie, you can do *so* much better than that guy. Sure, hire him to make the toga, then kick him to the kerb.

But it would be fun to make him play trophy for a night.

Still, you're right. We'll have him make togas for both of us and I'll take YOU to the party. ;-)

Oh, I might get Rami for the party, and maybe even kick him, but not to the curb!
