PR4: Caravaggio Edition

Christian easily has the most innate talent of the group. His outfit was "him" (small pleats, poofiness, and always with an edge), but I think it extended his range, far more than Rami, who can't give us anything but the same old thing. I think I am going to die of barfness.

Jillian's outfit astounded me until the model was standing next to her, and the jacket seemed to fall apart, as if the only thing giving it any structure was the buttons that kept it closed. A bit of a shame, but a great effort.

While I *love* the drama created by Chris' outfit, all those wrinkles reminded me of paper, and when the model walked down the runway, I didn't see any movement, and that bothered me.

Poor Sweet P, that outfit was all wrong from the get-go. I think in the last couple of shows, she just ran out of steam.

And what about that end?

Discuss!!

You know, I saw them standing there in the new Greco-Roman rooms (BIG donation there from Bill Blass - think they could have shown the memorial plaque?) and I thought oh shit, holy fucking Aphrodite - would someone please restrain that Gayrab? And sure enough, as soon as the challenge was explained, Bugger Boy al Drape-ari ran to the one statue. Mira, get over it!

Sweet P? Such a dear and such a confused thing. Let's be nice to her.

Chris - loooved his look far more than I did Rami's and I see no reason for him to have to have a bitch fight sissy boy slap fest before either can show at Bryant Park. Chris's work was far less repetitive, has more drama (gay! gay! gay!) and the man with the bad hair dye job LOVED it.

Christian is sweet, but haven't wee seen the puffy sleeve androgny with a contrasting shmata before thing? A lot?

Love Jillian's outfit. As to it falling apart, I think it's because the fabric was too soft. There might be some sort of additional lining that could be used to stiffen it slightly, say betweem the black layer and the glitter.

Yeah, I wanted the jacket it more military, ie stiff and structured. Heavy starch?

Paste made from left over confectioners sugar from Chris's donuts.

Yeah, how in the hell did Chris get that fabric to be *so* stiff and unmoving?? Perhaps he did dunk it in liquid starch, and just molded it to the form.

I'm really upset that there isn't a Tim Gunn PR Podcast this season. I need some more insight.

Jism. He has the hots for Nina's boots.

He’d squash Nina’s boots with one of his toes.

the boy was using organza, it has that 'viva viagra' quality. And the girl knows how to place seams.

Thanks for the insight. Usually they're pretty good about doing a voice-over about fabric choices, etc, but they kinda failed this season.

I befriended you on the weight of that comment alone. Bravo!!!!
