Outrageous

I was actually feeling pretty good, then I caught this via [livejournal.com profile] nudewoody, who in turn got it from [livejournal.com profile] danthered. Now I'm more than a little outraged by this.

I watched it, but admittedly, I don't know anything about the history of these tapes, nor of the incident in question, so I haven't quite figured out what's legit, and what's hyperbole. Either way, it's not good. It brings to light the futility of the situation. You can't verywell rise up against a government's injustice if they have vastly more money and equipment. Of course, no one really wants to do anything about it, as they're more than a little content to stay home and watch TV. 1984 was 22 years ago, just another year. Welcome to the Brave New World.
