Not the best S&M porn video on the planet, but filmed better than 99.9% of them.

Originally shot on 8mm film, re-released on video (VHS) in 2004, although all copies seem to be removed from online stores.

This info was taken from various sources online, including the LA&M:

Born to raise hell cover art

Shot on film in the early 70's, this was the beginning of the Marathon legacy featuring the best in all male S&M Classics. Born to Raise Hell brought to the world the supreme talents of the now famous leather daddy Val Martin. Along with a stellar cast of hot men who are very serious about sado-mashochistic sex! Beginning in the early 70's Marathon studio produced these videos which capture the authentic feel of the European Kink Scene - featuring its most infamous dungeons, Masterful Sadists and insatiable submissives. CAST: Val Martin - Quave Dalton - Steve Richards - John Detour - Eric Lansing - Tiger John - David Andrews

Re-released on Marathon Video, known for their "kink" films. CAST: Val Martin - Quave Dalton - Steve Richards - John Detour - Eric Lansing - Tiger John - David Andrews. I'm also seeing 1977 as an original release date. Bondage, shaving, hot wax, some water sports and fist-fucking (ouch, this guy was yelling!). plenty of leather, belt-slapping, guys getting bound, and hung from the rafters

Discuss.

Would need to see it first.

I take it you're working from home today?

The shy, coy routine may work on [livejournal.com profile] pagerbear, but I know what you're up to ;-)

Appropriately gritty and "real." Good enough production values to get out of the way, not so slick as to detract from aforementioned grit. Good stuff.

Do you happen to have a copy? My copy is missing the last ~10 minutes. From what I understand, the missing scene involves the sub turning the tables on the dom.

Hmm. That sounds familiar but my recollection is hazy. The video itself is buried in a box someplace. If I run into it, I'll report back.

Here's some REAL S/M you might appreciate: I had to drive a 1999 GMC Jimmy the other day all day long. I swear the suspension was constructed of moist angel hair pasta.

Preaching to the choir my friend, preaching to the choir. My alternative at the time was walking the 60 mile round trip commute and, in retrospect, I probably should have. I'm still sea sick from all the uncontrolled bouncing and bobbing about each simple highway expansion join elicited from that... interesting, shall we say, piece of engineering. It only has 50K +/- miles on it, so I know the suspension isn't shot. It's just calibrated to be that bad. Still, it was nice of my friend to let me borrow it for the day... kind of.

I think they use leaf springs on the rear wheels, and just a straight axle in the front ;-)

Was it just me, or did you enjoy that second thwack a bit *too* much?

Nah.  I only enjoy the second one if you're wearing synthetic fabrics while driving a domestic vehicle.

That'll require at least 4 thwacks.

Now [livejournal.com profile] rexbear, would you like your thwacks administered by leather-gloved hand, leather strap, or wood paddle? I'm quite versed in all of the above =)

My guess (or preference, if you will) would be to use that baseball bat that Fritz Reiner used for an orchestra baton, but I'm just that way…
