I'm going to see Paula Valstein in concert this evening, and I am going to shoot the hell out of her. She's a FOAF, through LJ's own inertiastar, playing at the Highline Ballroom tonight. The concert starts at 7, and tickets are only $12. This is a really big show for her, and if there is a lot of participation (read: ticket sales), she may get a record deal out of it.

For those wondering, she's got a bit of an early Tori Amos vibe, with a little Dar Williams/Paula Cole, but I think her performance is unique, and not trying to emulate any of those artists.

Thanks for the tip. I learn the coolest stuff from you. Someday I want to sit down and pour over architectual sites and books with you while listening to your cool music (and I may even attempt not to jump you while doing so)... no guarantees, though.

hehehe I'm just trying to picture someone trying to jump the tall fellow. Besides, once you listen to him talk you would melt into a puddle all the while babbling something like "yes sir, whatever you want, sir." hehehehe
