Here's the source code for the CSS hacks. In order to use the theme, you must do the following

1) Have S2 themes available to you (may require a paid membership)
2) Have the "Becket" Theme currently installed. It's in the "Bloggish" section in the theme selector.
3) Select "Customize Journal Style" from the menu of your LJ user info page
4) Click "Custom CSS" about 1/4 the way down, on your left
5) Copy all the code in the box below
6) Paste the code into the "Custom Stylesheet" text box
7) Save your changes

It's actually not at all difficult. You don't need to understand what the code does, you just have to copy/paste it into the box in your LJ "customize journal style" page.

I do not know how I missed the simplicity of that...which points even more to how inept I truly am about these things...
