Happy Monday

Today is filled with client interviews for a project we recently kicked off. These interviews will give me some insight into what the product needs to do in order for the users to be successful. The other half of the game is to actually observe people using the product so I get to understand what they're not telling us (people often want to please interviewers, so they'll say things they think we want to hear).

After awhile however, it all starts sounding like the same thing.

I love it. Sadly, it's all but a shambles. It's at least 15 years old, from when Structure still produced some really great stuff. Now they no longer exist, and their sister store ain't cutting it.

I've another wool/silk one (the one I am wearing is cotton) that I think I'm going to ask [livejournal.com profile] badgerpdx to reconstruct for me. I love it so much I'd rather sink money into reconstruction than throw it out.

I've had dates like that.

As for the pic, handsome as ever and I have to agree with [livejournal.com profile] shirtlifterbear. You've got a Liz Taylor thing going on with the eyes in this one.

I think it's somewhat instinctual. Humans are social creatures, and pleasing those around you promotes that.

Gorsh, you don't look particularly cheery :( You have to feel better than I do after having a bicycle-car kerfuffel on Monday afternoon. At least I'm still here to report about it.

I heard some entitled bitch in an SUV tried to kill you by running a stoplight.

I'm glad you're more-or-less OK.

Actuelement, it was a lady 60ish and her hubby in a Toyota Avalon who "didn't see me" in my obnoxiously dayglow yellow jacket. I got the worst of it with two fractured fingers (fourth and pinky) and two chipped teeth (left a crack on her windscreen!) Saw my doc yesterday, see a dentist on Monday and seeing a hand specialist on Wednesday. Oh what fun it is riding a bike :)

It would have to happen to my wanking hand :) I may have to learn to be ambidextrous.

I hope her insurance can cover it all.
