10-1 he was using GPS, and went this route because it told him to. Commercial drivers seem to think that because the GPS tells them to do something, it absolves them from paying attention to road signs and bridge heights.

Here is one of my favorites:

LOL. They need to raise the bridge, lower the roadway or get a bigger sign.

Or, have drivers that actually pay attention.

True, but that's not apparently working out so well.

I wonder how they got the stuck truck unstuck?

Normally, it involves deflating the tyres, and backing them out. Sometimes not even that will work, so more drastic measures have to be taken.

More drastic measures? Like tearing the truck apart to get it unstuck?

with an upcoming move, I hate to even think of something like this happening. last move, the Budget truck we were to pick up was too cold to start, so we had to get a UHAUL at the last minute. That cost us money and time.

Oh!

Officer it is all because of the heat, with the asphalt all puffed up and the steel beams sagging and my tires all inflated... On a cool day I would have made it through no problem!!

Oh, and Officer Ginger, may I show you the cool and comfortable interior of my cabin...

All it needs is a few spritzes of WD-40 ... or a big dollop of Crisco. Does you proud every time! (according to Loretta Lynn)

Another driver did not pay attention to the sign of brige heights, etc. Bet he was talking on the phone when he drove under it.
