I caught this crazy Japanese beat-boxer guy in the Union Sq. subway station. I snapped about 100 photos in about 3 minutes. I gave him $5. He was pretty good.

::blush::

Thanks! He was amazing. I gave the fellow he was with (the fellow with the small pink camera in the first pic) my card. I hope he emails me, as I'd like to show them how they turned out.

These are full-frame shots taken with my new 135mm ƒ2 prime lens. I'm still learning it, but I really like how it captures people (which is the majority of my subject matter).

Dude? I've seen "pro" photoshoots that didn't capture the vibe & the *LIFE* of an artist half as well as you did in these... :o)

Sure, part of that is the artist himself, but a *big* part of that is *your* eye and knowing *HOW* to use (or explore and "play with") your equipment (( You know me well enough by now to know how difficult it is for me to *NOT* say what's in my mind at the use of that last phrase... ;o) )) to drag that vibe into the image...

And you do that, man... ;o) A W E S O M E !! ;o)
