Worst Workout EVER

Bläarg!
The other day I woke up with a rather ugly cramp/tightness/soreness in my right shoulder. It actually started at my lower back, then crept up my shoulder, and up to the occipital lobe area of my brain/head. I decided to go to the gym anyway, as work has been so insane, I've been skipping days. I started out thinking I'd do a chest workout, but during my first stretch/warmup set, my shoulder told me on no uncertain terms that it wasn't going to have any of it. So I had my backup plan… triceps.
I actually managed to do OK. Nothing earth shattering (at least for me), just 225 on the cable pulldown, and 80 on the "donkey kick" extensions. I suppose the disparity is due to 1) I did them later, so I have already used a lot of my energy, and 2) if you are doing them one-handed, you don't have the ability to stabilise with the rest of your body. I also did overhead extensions at 180. I don't seem to weigh enough to easily get past that number. At higher weights, I get flung backward, out of position.
I also had to do a jillion errands that I *didn't* do, because my shoulder was bothering me. This prevented me from coming into NYC both yesterday and today. Ick. To those I would have seen, I do wish you the best of days.
