Shear Genius: Carrot Top In Drag Edition

octothorpeIs anyone else watching Shear Genius? I've found myself rather enjoying it. The first few episodes of any Bravo-ality show are usually less-than-stellar, as there are too many people to get a sense of who they are. However, I am digging what I'm seeing on this show. The personalities are so much more interesting than Top Design, and while they don't have a Daddy Tim(tm), the person checking progress does seem to offer some good criticism and help.
Last night's ep was amusing. They had to take their freaky plastic heads and go from dark to "level 8 blond" in something approaching negative time. This was the set-up to the main challenge where the contestants had to make their models look like the celebrity of their choosing within two hours.
The chick who made the model's hair orange?? Dr. Boogie had it right: "Carrot Top in Drag"!
WTF was she thinking?!?
