People who know my photography, know I only shoot with available light. I hate strobes, and I dislike colour photography for many reasons, one of which is that I just don't do enough them to truly be "good" at it, and I get easily frustrated. This of course will be corrected over time, as I've been asked to take the portraits for our office business cards. Luckily, the portrait shots will be B&W, so I don't have to learn too much stuff at once. There is going to be quite a bit of learning, as I decided to purchase a Canon Speedlite 580EX II.
Why did I get the 580? Because it's the only one that can act as a Master, and trigger (n) remote slave units, something that the 430 won't do. $2 in technology, jacked up to a $200 additional cost. ::sigh::
Photo geeks should check the specs here
