The Technology Entertainment Design conference just happened, and I wasn't there ::sigh::. However, they have made videos available. One video stood out, and that was Hans Rosling's on data, and how micro vs. micro views differ as applied to world population, GDP, over time. While I haven't really had time to analise the data presented (so the graphs may be a bit misleading, as they often are), the way the data is presented is nothing short of fantastic.

The embedded Flash video was giving me problems, but I was able to DL the video itself from the link at the bottom of the video.
