Some pics before I go to bed…

I had a lovely time, although I am lobster red now, and not the happiest of campers.

Sooo much fun, but while I *thought* I packed sunscreen, I did not, so now I am a lobster.

Yeah… arms, neck, head. All lobster red. It'll probably go away in a few days, but until then, ugh.

Aloe cream or gel should help. Big hugs.

Aloe gel is your best bet, in my experience.

Aloe gel as applied by a lovely young thing (young being subjective) that has steady... hands. ;)

Those who extol aloe for sunburn have never tried Twinlab Na-PCA spray. Sodium PCA is the natural water-retainer in human skin, and absolutely nothing I've ever tried beats it for relieving that tight, hot ache from a sunburn. Not to mention that as a spray, you don't have to touch the burned skin unlike any kind of cream or gel!

...and if you insist on aloe, there's a version that includes it.

Indeed, I haven't tried it, but where do you get that product (not online)?

I've most often seen it in health-food type stores, and the occasional non-chain pharmacy. The local Vitamin Shoppe here carries it, for instance. I linked to the listings on iHerb mainly so you'd know what the package looks like.

Cool, I'll check it out at my local Vitamin Shoppe. I hope they have it.

Very nice!

I'm glad you're reposting in LJ format. I couldn't comment when you switched to links.

Thanks!
