Those who extol aloe for sunburn have never tried Twinlab Na-PCA spray. Sodium PCA is the natural water-retainer in human skin, and absolutely nothing I've ever tried beats it for relieving that tight, hot ache from a sunburn. Not to mention that as a spray, you don't have to touch the burned skin unlike any kind of cream or gel!
...and if you insist on aloe, there's a version that includes it.
I've most often seen it in health-food type stores, and the occasional non-chain pharmacy. The local Vitamin Shoppe here carries it, for instance. I linked to the listings on iHerb mainly so you'd know what the package looks like.
