How are you holding up? I'm still in a bad way. My depression was kicked deeper with the news. Spent a lot of time productively crying. Felt good.

Not too bad, I guess. Been busy, trying to channel the bad into productive stuff, racking up the accomplishments. Then I see a tribute from another artist or band, seemingly ones you wouldn't think would be connected with Prince, and not only do they give it their best, the audience, again, ones you would not think would be into him, they cheer, sing, sway and give their love. Which sends me into tears, smiles, a punch in the gut all over again.

2016 has been devastating.

Agreed. This morning on the way to church/work, I drove by First Avenue and it's so sad. Our collective soul is aching here in Minneapolis.

I can only imagine. I've seen video and pics — even long heartfelt posts by fans, and even collaborators, but it's not the same as being there. ::hug::
