Bad Dream (No Biscuit)!
Oct. 7th, 2006 10:36 amOh, man!
Last night was fun... lots of folk, some from the former northern colonies came down to visit. Margaritas were consumed. Always good to see good folk.
On the train home, I popped open my laptop, and started doing some work on the new revision of my company's website. Things were going well, and I got a bit wired, so by the time I got home, I wasn't really in the mood to sleep. Soon it was 3am, and I *still* didn't feel like sleeping. Eventually, I got into bed, not feeling tired at all, but hoped being horizontal would help my situation.
The I proceeded to have the biggest anxiety dream *EVER*. It involved many Very Bad Things happening at once. My new car was stolen for a joy ride, and during that time smashed up pretty bad, and I also noticed that some personal financial objects of mine *AND* those of my father were in the car. This meant contacting credit card companies, banks (cheques were stolen), and various other things. I was in such a total panic, I actually woke up. When I woke, I noticed I couldn't feel my right arm at all. It seems I had been sleeping on it, and it was well past the pins and needles stage, into complete numbness, and possibly funny colours, although my colour vision is odd in near-total darkness. I couldn't even move the arm, I had to whip my body around to get my arm into a position where blood could flow.
Luckily everything turned out ok.
Wow.
