octothorpeI need a point-and-shoot to keep with me all the time. I love my 20D, but it's ginormous, and I don't always have it. I've missed far too many shots because I didn't have my camera with me.
I'm going G9.
It's the only P&S camera that I've seen that has aperture priority. As a bonus, it has a hotshoe, and built-in IS. It's also small enough to fit in a pocket. I'm also pleased that it has a RAW mode, although it doesn't write both RAW and JPEG simultaneously, like my 20D, so I will probably not bother with shooting in RAW with the G9 (all the "RAW worthy" shots will be taken by my 20D).

Do you really _need_ 12MP when they're being squeezed out of a tiny chip?
