It's Cold

Frelling cold.

I wanted to take an early train this morning, as I have an early client meeting. As it turns out, while I took an earlier train, it arrived 7 minutes *after* my normal train was to arrive. Of course, I had to stand the entire way, packed like a lemming into a shiny metal box.

Good times.

The roads themselves aren't so bad. It's all the other parts that are a mess. For some reason the sidewalks, and stairs weren't salted, and while they were shoveled when the snow was falling, they didn't de-ice them, so today it was a very dangerous slip-n-slide, and I'm wearing Vibram soles (not good on ice). I should have worn my Docs, as they're quite grippy, even on ice (I still believe everyone should have a pair).
