Sunday Gathering: I Like My Glass… Blown

Hey all. As I am sure you've seen from posts on thornyc, and naylandblake's respective journals that there's a doin's a transpirin' on Sunday, 9th July.

First, at 11am, we're going to see the Chihuly Exhibit in the Bronx Botanical Garden

Then

We're going to head over to P.S. 1 MoMA to see naylandblake's work (and I am sure many others).

Later tomorrow, I will announce a special Night time gathering to see Chihuly at night (oooh pretty!!) tentatively scheduled for the 13th . That will require a bit more set-up, so the details need to be worked out.

So reply below if you're coming.

We saw the Chihuly last Saturday...it was absolutely fabulous. Bring walking shoes!

I'm so glad you chose one of the evenings I can attend. I was going to wait until after seeing the exhibition during the day on Sunday to decide, but after seeing some of the pix on his website, I think I'd really like to see this. I'll stay tuned for details!

How wonderful. Can't make Sunday but might be able to do the evening stint. Looks absolutely fantastic. As of now I can make either 7/13 or 7/20. 7/27 I'll be in SF preparing for my afternoon of debauchery dressed to kill at DoreAlley the following Sun.
