Queer Eye

So I happened to channel surf this evening, and popped on Bravo, as they were showing Queer Eye. This episode had an FtM trans, coming out. Considering trans folk get ZERO airtime, I thought this was a rather pleasant surprise. It was still a horrible sponsor-tastic post-consumer waste of a show, but that's the way it's been since the show began.

I know what you mean ... I saw their commercials for a previous season where they did instant makeovers to the amazement of on lookers who asked "What are you, some kind of super heroes?" to which they exclaimed, "No, we're gay men!"

I felt like I should be running around offering design and fashion advice to people in peril or something. After all, I too am a gay man!
