FYFF: Just Before Bed Edition

While it's not the most flattering pic in the universe, I wanted to note, I am down to about 198lbs, and I am noticing less subcutaneous fat around my middle. Progress. Slow progress.

As far as lifting weight, I'm prettymuch back to numbers I find respectable for me (over 1000lbs on leg press, over 250 on the incline bench, 235 on the triceps pushdowns, etc). It's been awhile since I've been at that level, and it feels good to be back. In August I'll change cycles, and start eating more, with a goal of breaking some personal bests. I still want some more weeks of getting rid of the middle. At the moment, I am around 15%, although I'd love to see 12-13%, even if it's temporary. The three slices of pizza I had today didn't help.

Very nice! And those are quite heavy weights you lift there!

Thanks!

Yes, I'm not that big, but I am quite strong. I think it's due to the type of workouts I usually do. Lots of sets, very low reps, but VERY high weights. It's similar to, but a bit different from the MaxOT workout I've mentioned in the past (you can google the PDF). I'm also tall, which makes it more difficult to *appear* strong (short guys can always look bigger with the same amount of effort). I don't mind not being big. I just want to adjust my percentages, and be at least half in the shape as some folk I know in their 50s and 60s!
